In April, life returns to the fields and forests. The young Sun drives the cycle onwards with all its strength, while the days remain fickle in their adolescent nature. It is a time of abundant rain and bright sunshine, of cool evenings when winter seems reluctant to leave and mornings filled with fleeting joy. Easter brings Lent to an end and, in April too, Saint George slays the dragon, burying the last echoes of winter.
