Popular narratives were almost always transmitted communally, among families and communities, and so stories were often expressed through songs, dances and gatherings in which music played a fundamental role. Llegendàrium therefore reserves a place for songs with a narrative content, generally in the form of ballads. Sometimes songs take on the form of tales; at other times, legends themselves become ballads. The interplay between music and narrative is constant, rich and fascinating.
